For those that want to make a longer day of it we can meet up at the Lighthouse Hotel for lunch at about 12 noon for lunch. Steve Jalim a journalist should be meeting us there to discuss the trip and our enthusiasm for the car.
The first day of the meet. We meet up at about 2.00pm to cross the channel at 3.15pm. We are booked on a Sea France Ferry. We then speed down South-East across France to get to St Quentin at around 7.00pm local time.
We are staying in a small local hotel which does have its own restaurant, but we may want to go out and explore the town a bit in the evening and have lunch in another restaurant.
Day 2 Sunday 29th May
Start: Saint Quentin
Finish: Averienoz, Alps
Coordinated by: ????
This should be the only longish driving day. We need to put on a fair few miles to reach the Alps in the evening. However if we start reasonable early we should be able to afford a couple of decent stops in the day.
The Alps will be there to lure us on in the later part of the day as well.
Day 3 Monday 30th May
Start: Aviernoz, Alps
Finish: Aviernoz, Alps

We spend the day in the Alps. We can either do a driving route or spend the day going up and down cable cars and the like. No stress day we spend the night in the same place.
Day 4 Tuesday 31st May

Day 6 Thursday 2nd June
Start: Hotel Maulmont
Finish: Chateau de Couralain
Coordinated by: Vernon and Sylvia
An easy day driving up to another lovely chateau, hopefully via some minor roads and stopping off may be at some small unssuspecting village with a large central square where we can practice some donuts. Err mabe not the last bit.
Day 7 Friday 3rd June
Start: Ch. de Courtelain
Finish: Home
Coordinated by:
We may have time to visit the Eiffel tower. You never know.
Ferry is booked for 18.30 so we'll have to get to Calais for about 17.30. That does give us a whole day in France. Some may want to book in to the Lighthouse for the Friday night.
