Celebrate 10 Years of the S2000! 2009 will be the 10th anniversary of the S2000 and what better way to celebrate than to have a big gathering of S2000's from all over Europe? We are organising a huge S2000 meet in April 2009 and so far have participation from many European clubs - Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Swiss, Belgian, Dutch, Scandinavian, Polish and no doubt a few more! We'll also be getting supported by Honda Europe. The meet will be over Easter weekend 11/12/13 April 2009 and will take place in the Trentino region of Italy, which is perfect S2000 territority as it is surrounded by the Italian Alps, the Austrian Tyrol and the Dolomites. A forum has been set up on S2ki which can be found here. This contains full information and your chance to ask questions. Please pop in, have a look and feel free to leave any suggestions/ideas/comments that you may have. Remember this is your meet so please get involved and let us know what you want. Activities being planned will include something for everyone - Mountain drives, drives to discover the region, its culture and a karting or possibly a track day. Non driving activities should include things such as geometry tuning and dyno sessions, but more importantly socialising with like minded enthusiasts. Think Megameet, but with your European friends. Food, wine and beer, car and non car banter, and raising some money for charity. Everything will be arranged for you once you arrive. Hotels will be of a good standard and should hopefully have swimming pool facilities and a spa. Cost per person per day will be approximately 90 Euros which will cover your accommodation, and all meals, so basically an all inclusive tarrif, the only thing not included is your fuel. There will be convoys organised for the trip over to suit everyone - those who want a slow, scenic meander through europe, and those who want a quicker pace through country roads. You can of course make your own way there, or organise your own small group of cars via the s2ki forums. We have now started taking deposits. A fee of £55 per car is to be paid to S2KUK before 31 October 2008 in order to book your place.
